How to create dropdown menu in Squarespace

One useful feature that Squarespace offers is the ability to create drop-down menus. In this blog post, we'll walk you through the steps to create a drop-down menu in Squarespace.

Step 1: Create a Folder

To add a drop-down menu, first, you need to create a folder. In the website dashboard, click on the + icon and from the modal choose the Folder option.

A new folder will get created. Rename the folder name to your liking.

Step 2: Add pages under folder

Now, you can either create new pages or drag and drop existing pages under this folder.

All the pages under this folder will be displayed in the drop-down menu.

In the example below, a new folder has been created and renamed as “Services”. And three pages “service1”, “service2” and “service3” are added under the “Service” folder.

As you can see from the below image, the folder name gets displayed as the main menu and the pages present under this folder are all displayed as drop-down menu items.
